Recently I moved into a new home, and was blessed to buy some new furniture! My parents thought that it would be a good idea to buy a wall mounted shelf and place it over my desk so I can put my books into it. I agreed, cuz in Hong Kong you have to try to maximize your storage space.
So we went to Ikea and picked one out. We had the colours going and it looked awesome! So, today I was cleaning out my study… decided (thank goodness) to put my clothes in to the closet instead of leaving them in boxes. If I had decided to empty out my books and put them on the shelf I think I would of died.
Well, every Friday night I would sit at my desk and work on my lesson plans for the next day. Since I had classes all day saturdays. I was flipping my pages and suddenly! *BOOM!* My shelf and my books came tumbling down on to my brand new desk! What you wouldn’t believe is that my LCD monitor held up one side of my Shelf so it didn’t fall on me! I didn’t even put all my books up yet! I just put a bit of my books up and it came smashing down! Imagine I opt for emptying my boxes of books? My LCD monitor would probably smashed into pieces, and then my retractable desk lamp would be gone as well, and then the books would come falling on ME!!!!!!!!
WAH! I don’t remember if i screamed, but now there is this huge dent in my desk and my wall has scratches and 3 big holes from the nails…. and i’m alittle upset cuz I love my desk and it was spotless with no scratches and now its dented with a big crack !!!!
Oh.. now i realized its FRIDAY THE 13th!!!! ugh!
